Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered in a search tool, such as a name or birth date, is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Limestone County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be kept as needed to respond. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive technical information about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help measure traffic, commonly visited pages, and how visitors move through the site. Analytics vendors may combine that usage information into reports. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how certain features operate.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, maintaining, and improving site performance
- Routing a submitted query to the selected search partner
- Understanding which content is useful to visitors
- Diagnosing errors, outages, and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
Limestone County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant data. It provides general directions to the Limestone County Circuit Clerk, Circuit and District Courts, municipal courts, and Sheriff's Office. Alabama has no public statewide name-search warrant portal identified in the research. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Data submitted through a box is handled under that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each partner sets its own retention, disclosure, and security practices. Review those terms before entering any information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Limestone County offices, Alabama court services, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before disclosing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across sites and select ads. That processing occurs on the provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect information in our control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so unauthorized access or a breach cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor may be removed after a valid request.
Your Data Rights
The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40 et seq., governs access to many public writings, subject to legal limits. It does not make this privately operated site a public-record custodian. Where applicable privacy or consumer law provides the right, a visitor may request:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A new version becomes available on this page with an updated effective date.
